Gary McNamara has been a successful illustrator for the past 30 years. From the age of 23, Gary has worked freelance as a commercial illustrator for many of the biggest publishing houses in the world, focusing mostly on extremely well-known childrens characters.

In more recent years Gary has been able to concentrate more on his figurative painting, investigating and exploring various mediums to create depth and movement in his work. His latest acrylic and mixed media works demonstrate his idea to bring the beauty of nature together with more figurative work.
