Becky Bettesworth

Becky Bettesworth was born in 1974. Always loving art from an early age she went on to obtain a distinction at art foundation and a BA Hons in Graphic Design at Bath Art College. She moved to London and was an art director for a major advertising company before moving to Devon to persue her career as an artist. She had a solo exhibition at Cockington and sold her paintings in Devon and London, exhibiting her work at the Affordable Art Fair in London

Married and with the close succession of three children, the pressure of motherhood meant that there was little time to focus on her career.

Commissions still came her way, but 2012 is officially a new start and relaunch for Becky Bettesworth. Her work has matured and developed, taking inspiration from bygone eras where life seemed more nostalgic with less pressure and free from demands, expectations and worry.

If only life was as easy or perfect as a picture! Where women could be feminine loving the pure simple things in life, appreciating a beautiful moment, the stillness and simplicity....in an ideal world!
