Fiona Watson - The Singing Tree

This weekend we attended the Maidenhead Festival and sold lots of our fantastic artwork. Not only that we met lots of wonderful people and all in all had a fantastic time. The weather was hot, the food was good and the music was loud! We thank everyone who came in to our gazebo to see us.

There were a number of artworks that proved to be very popular with the crowds, one of these is a new artist to Union Art, Fiona Watson. Her print The Singing Tree in particular received lots of admirers and a number of purchases. It's also a favourite for us, we love this pretty print and we're delighted to be able to offer to our customers. The artwork is available in small, medium and large and can be purchased framed or un-framed.

Fiona Watson was born in Canada but now resides in the UK. She studied Biological Sciences at Leicester University and started her career as a medical journalist. She eventually studied printmaking at the Glasgow Print Studio etching copper and steel plates with acid. This proved to be the perfect blend of science and art. As a complete contrast to messy printmaking, Fiona also works extensively in digital printmaking. Fiona has exhibited worldwide and her artworks are in collections worldwide also, she has won several awards for her art.
