Jamie Boots – Heart of Asia (Asiatic Tiger)

Since Jamie Boots joined Union Art his super animal prints have remained in the top sellers list. His beautiful black and white pencil sketches capture the various wild animals’ personalities perfectly. One of Jamie’s most popular Signed Limited Edition Prints is Heart of Asia (Asiatic Tiger). Here he achieves the finest detail by etching fur texture into the paper and then working over the top of it with darker tones of pencil. The tiger is set against a white background to avoid any distraction from the striking animal; the effect is simple but powerful. You can’t fail to find beauty in Jamie Boots work.

Originally from New Zealand, Jamie Boots is a self taught artist who held his first exhibition in 2004. In a very short period of time a hobby became a profession and his drawings have become highly collectable. His artwork has won him a number of awards and his Limited Edition Prints can be found in galleries throughout the UK.
