Hilary Burnett Cooper - By the Waterfront

Hilary Burnett - Cooper's artworks are inspired by the natural world. She has travelled extensively and painted throughout the world. Some of her most acclaimed artwork is a selection of paintings from her Venetian collection and we are delighted to have these available as Signed Limited Edition Prints at Union Art. By the Waterfront is a brand new release from this collection, and has been selected as this week's Artwork of the Week at Union Art. Hilary is drawn to compositions featuring the light reflections on water and this painting is a great example of this. Her work evokes the subtle mood of the moment. The artwork has an edition size of just 95 and is supplied either mounted or framed.

Hilary started painting in watercolours in a representational and exacting style covering local scenes in Yorkshire. She now paints in a very different style – a looser more contemporary quality - and in all mediums, specialising primarily in acrylic landscapes.

Hilary Burnett - Cooper is one of Yorkshire's leading artists, she has been painting and exhibiting her work from a young age. After studying Graphic Design at Jacob Kramer Art College in Leeds, Hilary continued to  develop her career over 30 years. She has achieved success with various awards and has exhibited in numerous galleries. She has also tutored art courses in County Clare and Snowdonia.
