James Bartholomew – Brown Hare 5

James Bartholomew’s seascape and animal paintings have collected him several notable awards. Over the years he has been commissioned by the Sunday Times, the BBC and the British Tourist Authority. His works of art now appear in many corporate as well as private collections.

James paints animals that he has a particular likeness for, his animal paintings often feature hares, cows and chickens and he even has his own coup of chickens which provide him with ‘live-in’ subjects to paint. Each animal is painted with a loose, free flowing brushstroke that brings the animals character out from the canvas or paper, Brown Hare 5 is a fantastic example of this. The artwork is Signed and numbered by James and is an edition size of just 195.
