John Skinner – September Gold

As we go into September we’re enjoying the last of the sunshine and this beautiful Limited Edition Print really captures that feeling wonderfully. John Skinner is a self taught watercolour artist born in London in 1959. He was spotted by an acclaimed children’s book writer who together with the publishers commissioned John Skinner to illustrate the latest author’s book. John then went on to win several other commissions and an array of jobs, including working extensively in film and television. His impressive list of credits includes Spitting Image and Walt Disney.

In the Summer of 1995 John Skinner took a holiday in Devon and fell in love with the beauty of the region and decided to stay. John has now settled in Teignmouth and can often be seen roaming the estuary, moor land and coastal paths of the sea.
