Danny Abrahams - On yer Bike

Danny Abrahams is influenced by the beauty of the Yorkshire landscape. He paints stunning atmospheric scenes of the land. His work also takes a nostalgic look at childhood with many of his works featuring children riding off into the vast landscape on their bicycles.

The sky is always dramatic in Danny's artworks. Whether it's a beautiful warm sunset or a moody misty wet scene he depicts it perfectly. Working with oil on canvas favours his natural ability to capture the many 'moods' of the landscape and the magical 'skyscapes'.

Amazingly Danny Abrahams has had no formal training in art, he is completely self taught with his interest in sketching and drawing starting from an early age.

"On yer Bike" is a Signed Limited Edition Print with an edition size of just 95. The landscape depicted features a view of a northern industrial town with smoke bellowing from the factories chimneys into the sky. The sky, as typical, in Danny's paintings is powerful with the atmospheric light and colour of the sky cast against the dark industrial buildings. In contrast to this the foreground is busy with spectators cheering on a cycling race travelling through the town.
