Charlotte Atkinson

Charlotte Atkinson was born in Devon and trained as an Illustrator at Derby University and Hereford College. 

In 2000 she was honoured with the Fine Art Trade Guild Exhibition Award and went on to be represented by one of the largest Fine Art Publishers in the U.K. 

Over the past decade her stunning collection of prints captivated the imagination of an International Art Market as each sold out in a matter of weeks. 

In 2002 Charlotte Atkinson was nominated for the ‘Best Newcomer Artist Award’ and in 2003 ‘Best Up-and-Coming Published Artist Award’. 

Sell-out exhibitions followed in London, New York, Dallas and Dubai and in 2004 she was named in the ‘Top Ten Best-Selling Living Artists’ by the fine Art Trade Guild. 

Her unique mixed media paintings have a dream-like quality, which reflect upon inner strength and the beauty and power of nature. 

Charlotte Atkinson is happiest at home, living and working on the Devon coast with her husband and son who was born in 2008 with a rare heart defect; his strong recovery after treatment at Great Ormond Street makes every day a precious gift.
