Jacquie Denby

Born in Yorkshire in 1939, Jacquie Denby studied at the Harrogate School of Fine Art and the Jacob Krammer College of Art.

Throughout her work Jacquie Denby distils the joys of the natural world, depicting the simple and to her, the most important elements of the landsape – the wind, earth, sky, moon and the stars – whether it is the beloved Yorkshire Dales she grew up in or Provence in Springtime. And, it is the birds, symbolic of the spirits of nature, that lead us into her world.

Jacquie Denby has exhibited extensively in the North of England and Scotland.
