John Francis was born in 1966 and attended Ravensbourne College of Design in Bromley, Kent, where he developed his technique for capturing the pure beauty of the automotive line.
In 1986 John Francis was successful and he started working as a freelance for several major motoring magazines. In 1989 he was chosen by Autocar and Motor magazine to illustrate their Hall of Fame series on the world’s most beautiful cars, the first of which was the ‘D’ Type. John loves spending his time with photography, sketching and restoring classic cars.
