"Kenya is the most magical place to grow up and I count myself so lucky to have experienced a childhood influenced by my parent`s flying and horse trekking and the exciting sights and sounds of Africa.

I have drawn and painted my entire life and been professional for many years. I love to paint whatever takes my attention in mood, form, light or colour and my subjects encompass people, landscapes and animals. I paint in both oils and water colours and have produced my own cast bronze piece. I have had a painting accepted by the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours and have sold work all over the world as well as holding successful solo exhibitions and my paintings appearing in galleries both here and in the US. I am as much excited by art today as I was when I first began exploring the endless directions it can take you in." Pippa Thew
