Sheila Gill lives in Derbyshire, on the edge of the Peak District, with her husband and family.
Her chosen medium is watercolour because of its unpredictability.
"Just when you think you have the hang of it, it surprises you. I love the way rich pigmented colours move in the water, almost as if they have a life of their own.
I like to experiment with watercolour continuously stretching the boundaries between form and colour.
This keeps the Art exciting for me, and also, I hope for the viewer."
Sheila Gill has won many awards and is a member of the Society of Floral Painters, Peak District Products and the Fine Art Trade Guild.
